Things have been a little quiet around here, I know! That’s for a few reasons, but they all boil down to one thing: I’ve just been *really* freakin’ busy lately and haven’t had a whole lot of time to do any kind of ~experimental~ cooking. I tried to make my grandmother’s spedini last week and supremely fucked it up. And since then, between work and packing for a Memorial Day Weekend roadtrip and then actually going on said Memorial Day Weekend roadtrip, I don’t even have the time to make normal dinner.
So I’m taking the rest of May off! Breaks are important, guys, and I don’t think that, as creatives, we’re necessarily meant to be out here producing oodles of content on the regular. In the meantime, I hope you’ll go back and cook through my back catalog of recipes. There’s a lot of good stuff in there, and a long weekend is the perfect time to experiment.
I hope you all have an amazing May! I’ll see you in June when the produce is poppin’ and we start moving into my favorite time of year—seafood szn!
